    WTF(ruit) was THAT?

On a similar vein, I was involved in some jetski racing several years ago. Many of the racers running modified 2 stroke engines used racing fuel, which was not readily available in RP, so they brought 55 gallon drums down. There was such a hassle crossing the border, that they just quit on...

she also must have got her transplant too!! I beleive she needed a lung and a liver transplant over the years! She can be downright obnoxious.....she'll stand right in the way of the vehicle so that you have to go around her.....with my large mirrors, one of these days. I'll wind up smacking...

    crossing 5/14/09

I crossed on Sat. evening.....about 5:30pm....one line open, no cars....agent checked the passports....didn't ask any questions. The red headed male agent that can be a royal pain, was just standing around outside the booth (not working the booth). Anyone notice the tall woman looking for...

    Gas Prices

Diesel in RP on Fremont was 7.51 pesos per liter....comes out to $2.17/gallon....I got 13.15 pesos per dollar at the Cambio place on Fremont (the plaza caddy-corner to the Pemex gas station). The Cambio place is right across from the bank in the little plaza.

Also came back on the 6th I hit the border at about 7pm on Sat....avoiding the Sunday traffic, with the RCPM concert....had one line open, no cars...took about 20 seconds for the agent to scan my passport....old type without the RFID chip....absolutely no questions.....wish it was like that all...

the 10 Safest and most dangerous countries in the world

Stuart....I'm not as much an "old timer" as you are, but I remember when they repaved (and straightened) the current road...with the desert excursions around the construction. I used to enjoy the big dips that existed before on the previous road...with enough speed, you could get airborne...

the 10 Safest and most dangerous countries in the world

I think that some of the factors they used in evaluating the countries really have nothing to do with the safety of the populace.....such as foreign wars and the arms trade....it goes more with the "peaceful" country index........and NOT "dangerous"!

Vehicle Damage from Chipseal on Highway 85, Why to Lukeville!

Rob....for me, your initial post came across as a severe WHINE....rather then an informational post trying to help the Forum users out. The whole text of your message to your representative was completely unnecessary. That may have caused the responses you got! Most of us who have lived in AZ...

Vehicle Damage from Chipseal on Highway 85, Why to Lukeville!

OUCH Sub....now that was pretty cruel....maybe true (about Hummers, etc.)....but cruel nonetheless!! My recollection of that stretch of road is that there are many places to pull over....even a couple of what I would call rest areas....that is, unless you don't want to get your...

Nothing wrong with the store....but the last time I was in looking for something related to Mexico (marine type charts), they were limited in what they carried. I will admit that it was 3-4 years ago!
