Shay's Coyote Ugly on the Mirador closed this weekend....with Friday being the last day it was open for business. Just not enough business..... This was Marty's (of the old Margaritavilla), run by his son and daughter-in-law. He's still fighting trying to get Margaritavilla back.....

Haven't launched my jetskis in the harbor for a couple of months. Had them down this past weekend. When we went to launch them in the harbor (where the fishermen do), was told we had to pay $5 PER SKI to be able to launch and park. When did this start...and what's the story? The guy...

Another "wonderfull" wait at the border last night. Got there about 6:30 in the evening....line to the Wendy's.....took me 2 1/2 hours to cross. The Mexican police were telling the people that only one lane was open thru Customs, and that the agent in charge didn't care if there was a long...

I guess we'll have to watch Tropical Storm Julio to see if it runs up the gulf and has any impact on Puerto Penasco. It may dampen the Labor Day weekend there....

The Pithaya used to be pretty wild place. Then they remodeled, the name changed to Samy's, and it seems to have died. How is the activity at the "renamed" Pithaya now a days????
