    ProAlliance Insurance

My apologies and I mean no ill will but but I just can't stand it. Little Joni: you cannot "seen" something. You may HAVE seen it because seen is past tense. "We just saw this on Craigslist" would be correct. Verbally I hear people say "I seen the car go by" and I cringe, " I saw the car go...

    RP weather in October

I slept on the beach in Miramar last weekend. Although the days were pretty warm the cool breeze coming from the ocean made for very a pleasant night. Any inclement weather always adds to the adventure and fun for me, much better than sitting on the couch and watching T.V. in Phoenix as most do.

New storm may have an impact next week!

Last year even the Mayan was cut off from the flood waters. When I entered Miramar we had to use the Mayan road as the Miramar road was toast. Eventually the running water took out the Mayan road also. I left just before the Mayan road washed out. My friends stayed an extra day and had to 4...

New storm may have an impact next week!

I have been in Miramar (last year) when the river up north ran so heavily that no one could get in or out of Miramar for several days.

Dying in Mexico ( Rocky Point )

I just cared for a dear friend from the start of his battle with cancer until the day he passed. I now am preparing a eulogy and will spread his ashes. After experiencing first hand and up close what cancer can do in decimating the body and spirit I choose ( if I am able) to go the way many of...

    New Wind Turbine in Town

It has been several years since I have been there but San Juanico on the pacific coast of Baja was off the grid when I was there and had a fairly large wind farm in addition to solar panels everywhere: http://www.allaboutbaja.com/sanjuanico.htm

Can I get in and out without a Passport??

I believe that the U.S. guards definitely keep a database of those who cross without a valid passport. As the driver of the vehicle and passport holder I was fairly harshly admonished for allowing someone in my car who did not carry a passport last weekend. The bottom line is: get your...
