    Rescue!

Lucky dog. We did the same thing many years ago and she just recently died at 16 years old. She definitely knew who her friends were and was incredibly protective of the family.

    Auto Zone

Yes, it can be just a little confusing. Applying used oil on weeds in the U.S. was banned by law, but to safeguard the citizenry, Mosanto offered us Round Up instead, and so we now have 'agent orange' entering the food chain.............all for the good of us all...

    Sonoyta to Caborca video

I have been the recipient of an onslaught of miles of those truckers who, tired of waiting due to a truck fire at the checkpoint farther down the highway, all decided to use both the north and south lanes to head south while I was heading north. I either had to pull over and/or ride in the...

    Sting Ray Bites

....deservedly so for applying salt to the wounds. About fifteen or so years ago, I was hit by something on my foot and whatever it was seemed to be chasing me as I retreated. I never actually saw it, but assumed it to be a sting ray. There was no one else around and the pain travelled all the...

    Penasco/Caborca Road Condition

Last year we took the Sonoyta route, primarily due to the flooded washes and resulting water damage to the roads but we have driven the Caborca/Penasco road in the past. What about the stretch from the Heradura mine turnoff to Penasco? Would it be worth taking versus the Sonoyta route?

    Penasco/Caborca Road Condition

Right. I was also concerned about the road conditions all the way to Caborca but it sounds like there are a great deal of unfinished and routinely, unmaintained stretches which might still make a safer bet to go through Sonoyta.

    Penasco/Caborca Road Condition

I wonder if anyone can give me an update on the road improvements and general condition, verses just taking the Sonoyta/Caborca road instead. Thanks.

    Penasco Chinese restaurants shut down

Oddly enough there were no complaints about the tasty Chinese food while the restaurants were open. Hmmm.
