The last time I saw the races, they wound up having them up by the "Old Boys Club" because of the tide issue....on the sand...not as funny as on the mud.....half the entries were various Fire Depts from the Valley...

Does anyone know if the bridge on the Mexican highway (Hwy 2) between San Luis and Sonoyta has re-opened? I recall seeing some photos of it partially collapsed back about 3 weeks ago, and that was why all the trucks were going by way of the coast highway through Penasco.

Don't know if I'll be able to come down this year....daughter/son-in-law may be moving back to Phoenix around same time (he gets out of Army in Jan. 2013). The pot luck will probably have to be held over at Chuck's trailer if they have it this year....blame it on San Rafael Park complaining to...

First of all...the grief I got was NOT from the Border Patrol or Customs....it was from ADOT (Arizona Dept. of Transportation)...who keep someone at the border crossing. Second, I just love the generalizations.....like "that's just them being ass-clowns" or "the fact they probably couldn't hold...

Russ...I'm sorry if your wife went thru some grief....the way to handle rudeness on their part is to take names and badge numbers...and take it up with the supervision in Tucson...or higher, if necessary. My point is that taking the atittude of some of the posters on here and the video shown...

It's always "interesting" to read these reports of the "problems" that people have at the border crossing or with the border checkpoints. I've been going down for almost 30 years, sometimes with my kids, sometimes with friends, and sometimes by myself. I've towed a travel trailer, jetski...
