Any owner who booked thru the rental co. was ripped off for thousands of dollars at LP. Something you conveniently ignore.
I have never given an opinion on LP. I responded to a post about owners being scrutinized for their “non paying guest” which is also being done at the Sonoran Sea. My opinion was based on my own personal experiences and issues at the Sonoran Sea and how cheats hurt all of us. I thought I mentioned Sonoran Sea enough times in my post in fact look at my last sentence.

that's it??? Don't get frustrated, go online and copy a funny comeback or something more creative than "tool". You wil be excited to know that a handful of owners this week where caught cheating the system. I figured you would be excited to know that it is working; unless of course this is bad news for some owners ? hmmm

I heard there was a resort that still hadn't paid their owners $3 million. Pot callin' the kettle black. Tool.

The resort owes owners $3m? really? are you sure that they owe owner's $3m? Developer and rental operator owe owners, HOA and contractor's money. However I don't recall owners being owed 3m.
I guess your brilliant suggestion would be to let anyone and everybody do as they please because the developer owes others money. That sounds like a great anarchy plan. I thought it was mentioned too many times that the issue regarding debt owed is being negotiated and that part of the solution moving forward will be replacing the current rental operator and HOA administrator. So, how is that a bad thing? Unfortunately for you and others that prefer to rent as they please, that won't be happening today (with the current operator) or the next. In any case you should be excited to have a new rental operator! smile be happy.

Yes it was bad news for a couple of owners. Let's see, in all likelihood at least:

- 1 owner was falsely accused of cheating and now has an exhausting fight with OLP ahead of them
- 15 true guests of owners were needlessly hassled by the resort
- 3 potential owners have now decided to buy into the Sonoran's instead of purchasing at LP

Yes, I would say it was bad for the majority of owners.

Oh how about the 22 owners that are owed back trusts? Isn't $3m really an understated number?

FYI- many of the sonoran resorts are also revamping their rental regulations. You might want to be a good pal and give them a heads up. If the "3 potential owners" like the independence of renting on their own, they will also have a problem there.

Oh yes of course. Also they need to deduct the free penthouse, unlimited tacos, and comp'd limo service from phx to penasco. Fiesta bowl committee was jealous of the perks these guys got.

I don't know how to answer a desperate, ignorant person. when emotions are high it appears some lose all sense of reasoning.... oh, yes you will still have to rent via a rental operator. No matter how many times you spin it and no matter how many tantrums you throw, you will still have to rent your unit with a rental operator. If this will put a damper on your current income situation, I suggest you start planning ahead to sell.

Quit what? As a fellow humble owner, I feel the need to help lost souls such as yourself see the need to play nice within a community. regardless of who takes over, I find it interesting that you still shake you head no to renting within a rental operator (you know- no different than any other resort). It tells me that you have your own agenda to protect (cough cough -rent on your own/undercut owners- cough cough). thus I see great pleasure in doing all I can as a fellow owner to make sure this does not happen. I love you too much to see you go down a destructive path of selfishness, I want you to show love to your fellow neighbors by doing your part to follow the rules of the community. fortunately for you- you will have a new operator, considering your displeasure with the current one. It's a WIN, WIN ernesto.

1. I don't have a vendeta against any owner (nor do I care to- I am not an emotional "blue" personality - personality color code book. I am more of a 'red' personality). If anything I have a vendeta to improve the situation we are in. My personal opinion is we can't have "all goes" during the transition period of replacing and fixing this mess.
2. agree answering the reservation line is inexcusable (sp?). I have also heard of this problem from others. Last I heard is the current operator hired a couple of reservations agents to help (hopefully somewhat of a fix)
3. I am owed money by WWG just like others. One of the original partners is also owed money. I don't allow the resort to rent my unit. 50% of the committee members who rent their units (from what I understand refer most of the guests to the resort). My personal stand and opinion (again I am only 1 man), is to have as much order as possible (especially during the time period of transition). some don't feel that way and that is ok.
4. Threatened to quit the SC? are you trying to narrow down your owner list as to who I am? Again, I am nobody and it really does not matter.
