You are really working hard to find out who I am, I am glad it is important to you. Easiest thing would be to post the owner list and say I am in it. No matter what I say it won't change your thoughts regarding the direction the resort is going in. Thus I don't know what else to say, other than I hope you are on board and I hope you realize that the enforcements of rental regulations is nothing new in the industry (as mentioned before, the sonoran properties are making changes to their rental regulations and enforcement).
In regards to the $5 fee collected at one of the meetings, I believe the money was donated to back-end employees that had not been paid at the time. I also believe this was made clear prior to the meeting and at the entrance to the meeting. Either way it was not my idea or one I carried- a different set of owners took the batton on that one.

The facility use was not free for the group that met that day. For those that wanted to attend, the group organizers collected $5 per person (1st to pay for the rental facility since it would be impossible to know how many owners would actually show up- some owners were prepared to pay the balace due for the rental if not enough was collected). Money left over after the rental payment would be donated to back-end employees (ex. cooks). Those that generally don't receive tips as part of their income. I heard that over 300 attended the meeting and the group of owners managed to pass on the extra money to these employees (around 70 or so). Owners often times tip or are generous with various employees, this was a way to give a little more as a group of owners. Again, this was the idea of a group of owners that I did not have any affiliation with. I did admire their effort and work collecting the money and passing it out to various employees.

In regards to your comments- It surprises me that you would even make a comment about the donation, you are someone who should know the reason why the money was collected and who it went to. You are to the point of now complaining about anything and you are now throwing things to the wall hoping it would stick.
Are you slow or do you have a learning disability? I only ask because of the reason why you mentioned the collection, I am starting to get the feeling that you are not the brightest person. Unfortunately for Jerry, he did not know the details- however you did since you are an owner and that news was spread to all owners. You are now grasping at anything and turning in kiddy arguments. Just sell or move on. Your constant crying and now stupid points are getting worse each time you say something. Next, I am waiting for you to say how the Surveillance Committee controls the weather in penasco and how they are out to get little ol ernesto. Just sell or move on, because you are certainly not getting a damn thing accomplished on here (especially with your recent dumb comments). My concilatory tones are probably due to being exhausted and defeated in dealing with a man of no reason and one who has their own/individualized agenda. I don't understand the following- If you know you won't be able to ever rent on your own at Las Palomas or any other resort in peansco, why do you still argue to no end? At some point you either sell or accept it.

Sure Ernesto, whatever you say. At this point you are just throwing random accusations with no substance. Everytime the point is made that the resort will have a new rental operator or a new HOA administrator, you find a way to disagree with it. No one is trying to be a savior. You just have some owners that want to improve the project and make sure that regulations are enforced by the time the next operator gets involved. I know you think you have an army of owners upset that they can't break the rental rules anymore- unfotunately as you can tell by the last assembly that most owners don't think like you and most are supportive of the 20 or so individual owners that are volunteering their time in order to resolve the various issues that affect the community. Even when progress is made, you find a way to be upset because you can't rent your unit as you please. We have gone over so many times what has happened in the past, the need to correct the problem with a new operator and hoa administrator, and the need to resolve the debt owed. Yet, you are still upset. Deep down we know that you are really upset you can't rent your unit as you please- I get it. So, best wishes on your movement and good luck.

I think so. Price is fair and within the rental regulations of the resort. Good example.

Why do gringos go to Mexico to hang out with a bunch of other gringos? Thats about as much fun as sittin' around watchin' paint dry, then when they aren't bitchen about hoa's and mafia and land fraud all they do is talk about drinkin' and eatin'. I have had 3 house's in Las Conchas, property in Cholla, Mirador and I couldn't get Fabi to leave her beloved Lagrimas, home of the way Rocky point used to be for nothin'. wanna get your ass kicked say something wrong to your neighbor. They ain't screwin' with any hoa's. they are just gonna beat your ass. I like it that way.

Do you think it is best to advertise and announce continuing negotiations? Do you think it is best to get emotional and loud regarding the problem? You are right, we disagree on the approach to debt owed and how to handle a negoatiated settlement. By the way, the world works the same everywhere (even in the great USA). I have seen more corruption in my country with less consequences than any other area. Ernesto, a lot more people are involved and fully support the transition. Transperancy has always been shown to all owners, just like it will in the future when more information is presented. Again, here you go again with accusations thrown from left field with no specifics. You my friend, are the one that is looking like a desperate fool wishing he could still rent his unit as he wishes.

Dry Heat, I am not picking on you, I still dont think you have said anything wrong. But GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAd Dang what nice place to buy a vacation home. That development also put Penasco over the edge for available water, thank god its half empty so the rest of us can finally get some frickin' water.

Ernesto, of the 10000 views you guys were probably 9900 of them. The problems at Las palomas aint that big of a deal to anybody not invoved. P.S. I have had excellent water pressure since the slowdown.
