Puerto Penasco Home Port

Like I said in the very beginning! who is the contractor of record? Now again who is going to be the contractor of record. This is not rocket science it is only a jetty.

La empresa Consorcio Constructor de Obras Marinas S.A. de C.V is the contractor of record, really a breakwater.

I could see 9 months ago from my cabin in Prescott that it wouldn't fly... OK, so now they say their going to start doing it right but that won't fix what's already there.

Posted on Jan 19th.
"Truth is I can't tell exactly what they plan on doing with this Jetty/breakwater. Because there is so much dirt and smaller rocks between the large boulders, it will settle unevenly. I can't see it holding up for any length of time under any heavy usage; like a road on top.
What say Stuart, between the both of us we have both coasts covered and the Sea of Cortez to some extent. Have you ever seen a breakwater or Jetty with so much dirt and small rocks in it at any stage?...Oh I forgot, no problem."

When is the last time you saw it? Never seen any dirt.
Look closely at this picture and tell me it doesn't look like they just starting loading and dumping at random... Read the article Jerry posted...http://penascodigital.com/2014/tuvimos-que-cambiar-el-proyecto-del-home-port-javier-tapia-camou-38178.html
It basically say's their going to have to make some barriers and add concrete and the barriers to reinforce what's there already and go along those lines till completion.

The start of a Jetty/Breakwater needs as much integrity as the end, maybe more with a high tide with wind. Doe's it look like they were thinking like that, anyone?

Looks like this guy is out of the project. Isn't he the one that was in jail for drugs or fraud before?

I wonder if Wendy got the boot too? Oh well as she says " what goes up must come down!"

"Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.-
Given the different problems that arose in Home Port, specifically with carriers of stone materials in Puerto Penasco, derived from improper handling by the company Cisolmex Developer, SA de CV represented by Alfredo Vergara Alvarez The latter comes out of the work and is no longer part of this project, so Javier Tapia Camou said, General Coordinator of the Commission for the Promotion of Tourism of the State of Sonora (COFETUR).

"We we bid the work, which won the company publicly Consortium, I understand that some people subcontracted Consortium in different areas and they subcontracted the Licensed Vergara in a specific area, however, situations have changed, the same situation of the problem and today the Licensed Vergara has nothing to do, as far as I am informed my Consortium, he has nothing to do with the Home Port "he said.

Also explained "he was responsible for the company's transportation, clarifying that Consorcio not handling matters related to transport, subcontracted to Developer Cisolmex, SA de CV, right now we are restructuring the project's Home Port and certainly in this sense be handle differently, we have understood that the lawyer is no longer Vergara Consortium ".

Similarly, Tapia Camou, stated "right now with all the changes, is a new company that will be the one to resume the work of the Home Port".

No, she's just away right now having in depth discussions with ALL the major cruise lines. They're all so anxious to get all their ships over to Rocky Point ;)

Stop all the BS people !! The federal government has stopped the project. A firm from Mexico City is re-a valuing the project. No more rocks at black mt. Concrete blocks not feasible. Cruise lines have other ports to worry about to Get excited for our completion. Look for private investments and work to start again NOT until the spring. This will get done , but not in 2015 or 2016.....take a breath now some of you guys won't see it in your lifetime.
