THINGS CHANGE DAILY, (and we are doing the best we can to bring you current and accurate information as provided by the city...not speculation.)
The City has announced Phase 1 of the city’s reactivation and it will began
Monday May 18th.
These are the following business/activities that will be able to operate, following strict sanitary guideliness like wearing a mask and gloves at all times.
By appointment and one customer at a time only...
-Hair salons/barber shops/spas
-Auto repair shops/ac and electric repair.
-Carwash
-Printing, serigraphy and taylor/sewing shops
-Street vendors will be allowed to sell food and/or artesanal objects in non-tourist areas.
-
And La Milla/Unidad Deportiva will be open for 50ppl at a time only for 1hr for ppl that need to exercise or walk for an hr. By appointment only, call 638-113-3300
- Construction sites, 1 worker per 50 square meters, and no cafeterias will be allowed to be open at the site. Workers will be able to be transported but no more than 9 per vehicle.
-Construction material/supplies companies.
By Delivery only...(or 2 customers at a time)
-beauty supply/distributors
-book stores (papelerias)
-Flowershops
-Electronic stores
- Furniture stores
-Pest/Insect control
-Laundromats
-Paint stores
-Clothing stores
-etc
(NO to opening Pools on phase 1, sorry)
PHASE 2 June 1st - June 15th at 40% capacity'
-Restaurants
-Taco places
-Cafe's (Cafeterias)
-Gyms
-Public spaces (for residents only, not the Malecon or the Beach)
-Golf
PHASE 3 June 16th -...
With the protocols from the Dept. of Health, keeping a safe distance and no agglomeration.
-Hotels at 40% capacity
Modifications are still being made, we will post as soon as we have all the info.

Again, the road block or sanitary filter is still in place, the beach is still closed and waiting for the Federal Govt. to allow the opening, border is open for essential travel only, only 1 person per vehicle, wearing a mask is mandatory. Curfew hrs are still in place. And the Mayor asks for discipline so all 3 phases are possible.

Phase 2- June 1st-June 15th
