Most likely as you head south through town towards Rocky Point, after crossing federal hwy 2, before you make the turn onto the final road with the Bienvendos sign, there is a closed Arizona Market building. On that bypass road to the west, there is a Pemex within sight on the south side.

I know this isn't the bypass we are talking about but didn't Gillespie have a road from out by his place at La Pinta to Sonoyta? I heard there were plans to develop it and it was a time saver.
Just before the checkpoint there is a railroad crossing of sorts followed by a road of sorts that goes through a mountain pass of sorts....The hurricane really made a bad situation worse but might be good to try some gold panning back there...

Isn't that the area somebody said is now a military gunnery range? Might get your ass shot off.
