Ther are lot's of other great taco's in town also, that nobody talks about, taco's de lengua, taco's de cabeza, taco's de ostion, taco's de chicharon, taco's de aguacate, taco's de tripitas, taco's de raja de chile con crema and taco's de calabacita's. The oyster tacos were delicious, chopped oyster's sauteed in a small amount of butter, seasoned with a little salt and diced garlic on a corn tortilla, with salsa, simple.

The best tacos was the Asadero Sonora by the train station. They also had the best beans...... I watched them build that place in 1976. I am so bummed that they are no more and the owner is now dead

No wonder you had to put the fan in the outhouse!

Do you remember going to the train station in the middle of the night when the train came in in order to get tacos? Only place that was available in those days. The vendors would have everything set up as the train came in - people would lean out of the windows with their pesos. Once they had potato tacos that were wonderful - I think they were either 5 or 10 pesos.

I think that is the name. They a couple tables on the street and the rest upstairs. Asadero Guss Jack had the pork last time.

Thanks a lot Todd! Wow, I can't believe this response to my post, I'm definitely going to take notes and try some of the most popular suggestions. We bought at the Sonoran Sea- my wife and I have been there a few times over the years and we actually got married there in August- it was unforgettable! 'Rocky Point' Dan Monroe was our agent, he was fantasic to work with, and we closed in December. This part weekend was our first trip as 'owners' and we fell in love all over again (with Rocky Point and each other hahah) Thanks again and we'll stay in touch!
