we all have opinions, and are free to share them. I seem to agree with most everything that has been posted here. not quite nearly native, but an Arizona resident for 33 years and counting, and for the most part, Arizona has been an embarassment politically, and socially, but I still love it...

thanksgiving 2009- we have it on the list, but we keep ending up going to other places, states, countries...... we're having a ball traveling as often as possible, wherever we can pull it off. we'll be back to PDO sometime before thanksgiving, I'm sure - just not sure when :)

that motel by the Pithaya (Sammys) between PDO and San Rafael is on the beach and about 50/nt I think - can't remember the name .....

our condolences to Rob Krentz's family and friends - this is not how it should end for any of us. By all accounts, this man had spent his life taking care of his family and being a good steward of his ranch. this just plain sucks - it needs to stop. RIP Rob Krentz.

Rosy - we're happy for you and your family. My sister-in-law recently had her orders changed from Afghanistan to Germany, we were more than a bit relieved. we sure wish all our sons and daughters would be coming home soon, and safe, from all over the world.

Mark - very cool - I like the way you blended the video and stills, moved very nice to the music. have not seen the hill from that side on land, nice to see it's still basically natural. - we need to get back down sometime soon.....

asprinkles - asprinkles - seems I recognize that ID from the TTOL board :) thanks for the east cape info. we made it to JVD and the soggy dollar, but left for the willie t after about 4 hours to catch happy hour there. never quite made it by Ivans to stop and say hello. maybe we'll catch up...

looking ahead, we don't know how many our group may be. we're also considering a day fishing East cape - so if anyone has any leads for there, please chime in!

we've bought clams at Thanksgiving time 2008 and 2009 - 50 cents/lb for the litle ones- on the Malecon. very tasty after rising them out well. no idea where they come from.
