just an FYI - as we had searched previously to have someone bring a TT to PP for us - found a couple listings on Craigslist Phoenix for under 300 - insured commercial transport. as the owner, you'd probaly want to be along for the ride anyhow, so you get it parked where you want. just a thought.

we were down a few years ago at PDO - and had friends who had rented the beachfront unit #1 at the Mirador. high tide was splashing the breakwall over and over again, we could not move back far enough to avoid the splashing as we sat on the patio. the water was up the circular concrete steps...

it's one liter of liquor AND one case of beer per adult (over 18) coming back into USA. going into Mexico - one case beer, 3 liters of liquor per adult. that's my story and I'm stickin to it :)

glad to hear the beaches are getting more activity - can't wait to get back, but it'll probably be Thanksgiving before we get a chance. we do plan to stay from Thanksgiving thru to Tuesday this time - need that one more day on the beach. can't wait to see everyone again- potluck, bird island...

bought a bottle of the "Kirkland" (costco) brand anejo on Friday. 23.99 for a liter, and is marked "extra aged" - not sure if this falls into the "extra anejo" catagory or not. smooth, but very full with lots of flavor - almost overpowering, but not bitter at all, just a VERY full, robust...
