    ants, ants, ants

Thank for the great advice- can you buy the boric adic locally? I know borax is a common ingredient in ant traps. I just thought if I could buy the traps locally, it would be less messy than making them myself. I do have a dog, as well.

Hey, all, I'm new to life in Mexico, do you mind taking the time to explain recycling here? I've seen the different colored cans on Playa Bonita, and I usually buy beer from a deposito, but what can I do with the cans and bottles I get from the Circle K or Ley's, to be sure they get recycled...

    Sagarpa-brining dog into Mexico.

ha-ha no kidding, I make sure my dog doesn't try to get his pansy ass in a fight. :D Although the locals seem a little nervous about him (they say he looks like a wolf), the local dogs know he's just a sissy city dog from Canada.

hi- we just arrived last week with our dog, we're living here now. We have an international certificate of health for him, and all his vaccination documentation. Hi, all, new in town, thrilled to be here, and we're looking for two desks to set up our computers on. It would be great if we can get them this weekend; does anyone have any advice on where to go? We already looked at the wooden furniture place across from the bus station on Benito Juarez, and...

Best place to get Mexican car insurance

Hi- all, I will want to get annual Mexican insurance next time I come through. Is it cost-effective just to get insurance from one of the places by the road in Ajo or Why? Or should I shop around? We're coming through early on a Thursday morning- if we go to one of the roadside places, will...

Sorry, one more question. Say I have a sister-in-law in MA. Can I get a second receiver and dish on her account and take them down to Rocky Point? Thanks again!

    Satellite TV

Ok, thanks so much! I am fairly satellite-illiterate, mind if I ask a few more questions? What other satellites hit Rocky Point? If we went with a subscription to American TV, would we also be able to get any Canadian Channels? (Specifically CTV or CBC, both available on that satellite you...

    Mosquitoes?

Hi- Just wondering how the mosquitoes are in Puerto Penasco? Last two times I was there, in March and May, they were non-existent. Also, is there actually a rainy season down there? I know mit gets only 2 inches of rain a year, so it can't be a very lengthy one. :D

WOW! What a great response! Thanks to you all! As far as being brave, we think that the really brave people were the native Canadians who actually lived through these winters up here in a TEPEE!! :) We just want to get away from the winters, and having visited Rocky Point we were really...

    Satellite TV

Hi, everyone, I posted this question over at Rocky Point online Forum and it got no response (except for the person who suggested I post it here, so here goes). We bought a house in town and we're moving down there from Canada in late August. I know, we'll be hot, who cares!! Now, we...
