    Mexican Politics

I believe there is an equal amount of corruption in the U.S.. We all have to be careful though because corruption is most often an assumed condition and not a proven one. The biggest problem is that there are not enough political parties sharing power. Basically we have two parties in power in...

Heads up. Some Mexican Hot Sauces Contain Lead, Study Says.

My doctor told me I didn't get enough lead in my diet so I am out buying El Pato from Mexico ( we drink El Pato like water at my house but it is made in California).

    Best weather website?

Well, I love the Casa Weez connection and look at it almost every day. Thank you for turning me on to it and thank you, Casa Weez for having the great weather station info available for all of us.

Funny, there is a 5 degree temperature difference from the Accuweather posting on the home page to here to the Casa Weez report from their house in Playa La Jolla

A little bit of Penasco history

The shrimpers would many times run their wooden boats up on the shore in front of my old house in Cholla. When the tide went out the boat would roll on its side and the work would begin on re-chinking the joints. We had great fun playing on the boats and jumping into the water from them.

    Anyone headed out this weekend?

Does anyone know what the impetus is for the focus on dogs crossing into Mexico? I mean, for all of the things the Mexican border guards could be looking for to be taking pictures of dogs (what the hell are they doing with the pictures?) and being so intensely interested in the dog issue seems...

    Anyone headed out this weekend?

Just don't enter a flooded wash, no big deal. You may have to delay your trip but be safe, not sorry.

    Bad fire in Prescott!

Given the potential for lawsuits (they are coming) and personal liability, and having to make decisions on this tragedy that may or may not be popular, I would want every available asset I could possibly muster to be working for me. Everyone sure is tiptoeing around the personal responsibility...

No, they are usually light brown. They have all of the detail of a sand dollar but are stone now.

    Petrified Sand Dollars

In the muddy cliffs a few miles South of El Golfo there are petrified sand dollars to be found. Have any of you come across them?

    Bad fire in Prescott!

Allright, I am spurred to comment. A tragedy? Of course, no question. No agency or company should place any workers in life threatening circumstances be they part time or full time employees, no matter what without disability and life coverage for the workers. Work danger comes in many forms...

"but I was told, by two different contacts at the company, that Progressive policies cover everything but liability all over Mexico" If you cannot find it in writing in your contract do not expect to have this coverage.
