What are the steps to buying property in Mexico?

In today's environment, there are good deals, but 'buyer beware' takes on a whole new meaning.

Chorizo stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon

Smileys don't actually come naturally to me, but it seems to cut down on the pixel, lynch mobs which form on some international wannabe, bad ass, web sites. :-?:roll::-P

    It is time now!!

Since most of the issues in the Rants and Raves section are readily available on thousands of web sites, and are mostly regurgitated left/right bull**** from the internet, I think it is worth considering. Perhaps the Rants and Raves should be related to Rocky Point and Mexico in...

The federales have been known to park in a cluster of trees in a ranchito between Nayarit and Penasco on the west side of the highway, and are quite difficult to see until you are almost on top of them. I don't personally use a radar detector but some people do.

Speed is ok. Keep your eyes on the road ahead for police traps which are set up once and a while, usually on US holidays or long weekends. Radar detectors will help also. To be safer, drive the posted highway speed limits, although no one does.

It is probably physically safe but not financially so, if the federales are parked under their favorite trees along the way.
