It doesn't cost that much to enjoy watersports.....and some of us have ridden jetskis year round....but to each his own....i've never seen the attraction to spend $150 or even $60.... to knock a little ball around a golfcourse....

Just check into the maintenance fees....and who controls the HOA. Also consider how many owners are in arrears on their maintenance fees at the resort....which will translate into either higher costs for you, or deteriorating facilities.

Is the Verizon phone a dual ???/GSM phone, or does Verizon now have an agreement with another mexican phoen company? I used to have Verizon, but changed when they lost their roaming coverage in Mexico several years ago.

Max's used to have a computer setup up for use (free). I recall that they even had a phone hooked up to make a free phone call (Skype or MagicJack???). Haven't noticed lately if it's still there. Several of the bars on the Malecon (including BooBar) have wifi that's unlocked. I think Latitude...

Maybe you wouldn't have had all the shady deals that have occurred in Penasco or other parts of Mexico if you had called a plumber!!!! Even using a Notario, I would not be comfortable trying to buy property or a bank trust with the title/deed process that Mexico operates under, or the way...

Just about every watering hole has room to do some dancing....Manny's, SandBar, Changos, the places along the Malecon. Check with Mark (Seadweller on here) for some recommendations for fishing....he and his wife (Barb) book a lot of the trips.
