Did you have International Roaming authorized? That's what let's the phone work down there. The "Mexico thingee" only gives you somewhat better rates to call back to the US.

Born in Flagstaff.....played a lot of "sidekick" roles in "B" and even some "A" westerns....
Gawd....I am getting old if I can recognize him......:desert:
Depending on if you just want to make local calls in Penasco...get a Telcel Amigo.....you pick up the prepaid cards just about anywhere (100 peso increments). I bought some throwaway phones back in the states, had them unlocked and bought the Amigo sim (about $18 USD). That's what I use to...
Muchos gracias.....I'm just chillin' at home...took the day off from work.
Was hoping to celebrate this weekend in Penasco, but need to have work done on the truck....so it will have to wait till next weekend.
Hope to see my friends down there!!!!

There's a company that sells a frame with cooler that you mount on the back of the jetski...they also carry rodholders for it....I have the cooler. Can't for the life of me remember the company name.....
Can't respond on how good Vina del Mar is now...but it was the first place I stayed at back in 1985 when they didn't even have the pool!
There is a tide pool right below the hotel...just drive thru the parking lot to the very back. There are many tide pools off the Mirador area (Manny's) at...
That's about the cruising speed of the "trawler" types...like Grand Banks.....but for something that huge...not bad on the fuel economy...when you consider that power boats are measured in gallons per mile instead of mpg!
If that's a 74 footer, that flybridge looks like it's somewhere...
