Chuck.....if you check the listings, there are several condos available in the $1200-1600 range for a month. Don't know the terms (monthly or longer).....

I try not to leave on a Sunday or a holiday, since I don't generally get up early down there.....I've hit the border early afternoon (between 12-2) on a Monday with almost no wait. If I get down on the 4th of July, I will probably not leave until Tuesday.

Again this was a couple of years ago...and the police department has been "cleaned" (?????), but the word was back then, that the impound yard where the vehicles were kept was considered a "spare parts store". My friend, who lives in Penasco told me to remove everything I could from the truck...

Particularly since the absolut-tonics were probably half the bill!!!

Does anyone believe that the theaters will be able to survive? The reason I ask is that I've seen vendors along the Malecon selling bootleg videos (first rn movies) for less that the price of a movie ticket.... Not meant as a "doom and gloom" type of post.....
