Wow! Just WOW! We just got back from a 1400 mile round trip from Peñasco to Guerrero Negro that consisted of an overnight in Ensenada, 3 nights in Guerrero Negro, and day trip to San Ignacio, a dirt road experience over the backbone from the Pacific to magical Gonzaga bay on the sea of Cortes...

Every year the Rv group known as Escapees Mexico connection make their way south of the border to visit different places. This year was Puerto Peñasco. The caravan was 60 rigs, 120 people and they are here for 10 days. They eat out, they visit the Cantinas, they go on tours and like today...

Whales trump negativity every single time. There are sightings of dozens together as of Feb 2 2016. There are whale watching trips by at least 3 different companies everyday. This is 100% positive.

The trip to Baja is so much more than whales although they are the main pull, we visit the wine country, the deserts of Cataviña and of course the whales in Guerero Negro, but then down to San Ignacio for a day trip, then coming back to cross over the backbone of the baja from the Pacific ocean...
