Sam's Club is being built right next to the Bodega (north side) across the street from Santa Fe & Domino's Pizza. Both Sam's Club and the Bodega are tied in with Walmart.

Windows are open - perfect sleeping weather. Everyone is stopping to talk and the weather is the topic of conversation - must admit, a 'gloating' in our voice tones lol. It is making up for cold winter days. Ladyjeeper, hope the next time you are down it rewards you with days like today.

We are having 'Eden' Weather - it is so beautiful. Warm, no wind. Actually not a whole lot of people on the beach or in the pool but those that are are blissful. Dogs are busy playing. If you can get away this weekend you might just want to pack the car and head down.

Stopped at customer service as didn't see anything as we wandered around the store - not a whole lot of people there. The young woman at customer service indicated they were not taking Sam's Club memberships at the store. Didn't give more information and my Spanish sadly lacking to be able to...

Stopped by the Bodega today and was told they weren't taking memberships for Sam's Club there - wonder if it is only on the weekend and/or special set ups?

DH's Mother was one of the greatest cooks - I was her assistant but I never could do it quite like she did. And, oh could she cook a wonderful pie! She was a boarding house cook when DH was growing up and no one ever missed her meals - talk about comfort food.

Does anyone know if there is a place down here where you can get real old fashioned wonderful Country Fried Steak and Biscuits & Gravy? My southern DH is really missing it and it is not something I'm very efficient at making :)
