How will the grocery service work? Sounds like a great idea for those of us who can find any reason for not leaving Penasco - either the day is too beautiful (almost all the time) or it isn't a great day so who wants to travel (doesn't happen often) or just so lazy that the thought of traveling...

Seems in the dim part of my mind someone was recently asking about strawberries. Yesterday (May 22) we got wonderful strawberries at Super Ley.

We attended his first Town Meeting and it was well worth it. If you haven't met Mr. Cummins yet you should. He is pro Penasco and Sonora.

Anyone heard how the rentals are going for Memorial Day? I'm guessing rented out but I haven't heard anything other then our complex is suppose to be fulled rented. Lately we've noticed a lot more traffic then same time last year.

Cathy, Our son rents his out using Castaways (202B) - I believe it is rented out for the Memorial weekend but not before then. It is a 2 bedroom with a lovely view and well decorated. I'm checking on it for you. Has been beautiful here. Great place to celebrate a 50th!

Is Taco Bell really opening in Penasco? Although DH does miss it. I have to admit I do get a yen for a Big Mac or KFC, every once in a while. But years ago tacos were so much better (and cheaper) then they are now in Penasco. I like the old hard shell, shredded beef, greasy tacos of old.
