Every single time I've been on it. The pesos thing at the toll booth is also true. I'd always grab $100 USD of pesos in Nogales before crossing. One year, I was feeling particularly adventurous. We drove all the way to Mazatlan and back. That's seeing the REAL mexico up close and personal.

The Sea of Cortez... it ain't for bay boaters. I fished with a guy in San Carlos that had a nice deck boat. He insisted it could handle it. He could keep up with me on the nice, flat days. The minute it got snotty, he had to run like hell to make it back in. I still give him an A for effort...

My F-250 and sand don't mix. Too big and too heavy. Makes me miss my old International Scout. That thing was a billy goat and despite burying it on beaches up and down the coast, I was always able to air down the tires and paddle myself up on top of the sand again. Wasn't much on creature...

Gotta love it... 94.7 °F Feels Like 120.5 °F One of the hottest trips I ever made to Penasco was about 3rd week of September. Absolutely brutal; even the water offshore was 93 degrees! We were catching fish that were already cooked!

In my humble American opinion... going from a 3rd world, to a 2nd world, to a 1st world country only adds nothing but issues you have to deal with on a daily basis. I'm ready for a palapa on the beach!

Naaaahhhh, but you'll have to ask Capt. Keith if you want to go out on my boat -- I sold it to him a month ago. So, I'm currently boatless for awhile, but plan on buying another one at some point. Going back to a center console, something in the 26-28 ft range.

Gotta love Auto-correct. I look at it this way... it makes life more interesting! I can't say for certain, but it does seem they inspect a LOT more thoroughly when there aren't many to inspect.
