Check out the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Phoenix-Airport at 3401 E University Drive. Usually at good rate this time of year for being close to airport, maybe about $70 or so.

I was stopped yesterday late afternoon by 5 Mexican military soldiers conducting inspections in road just before crossing into the USA. They went through every bag, tote , glove box ,and the cooler in my Jeep. Took about 10-15 minutes before sending me on my way.

I use my Fidelity Rewards Visa card that is tied to a cash core account at the ATM. Fidelity refunds all fees incurred back into that account in a day or so.
