yes any visitors are better than no visitors. Plus those people will go back and tell everyone what a fun, safe time they had ( other than the death of a biker ) and maybe others won't be so afraid to visit RP. Gotta think positive.

when we were leaving on friday there was a white car pretty smashed up just as you leave RP limits. There was a lot of windshield damage. The police were there but most of it had been cleaned up. The plates were from colorado..so maybe that had something to do with it.

came home friday and we stopped counting at over 200 vehicles heading down...was great to see. Hope it was a good weekend for RP.

Food is sure good there as is the portions. Had the all you can eat pasta for $7 and you could choose how you wanted it as it was cooked in front of you!! Was very good. Heard the all you can eat fish and chips on sunday is also very good.

I have guests that are coming from san diego and want to take the coastal highway but were told it was not safe. Has anyone driven it lately or have any input on it. Thanks...

we got caught in it as we were arriving....first duty free was closed when we hit the border and then we were to be delayed getting to the ocean....we were told they are allowed to petition for one hour and then the police put an end to it????? Not sure if true or not but if according to that...
