20 years ago I was told that if you stopped at the grocery store there and bought stuff, you would avoid being hassled by local cops. I did that for a few years. Everyone felt that locals weren't getting any tourist dollars.

I was shocked to read this comments. I know people that have a condo there and go down all the time. The go to VFW and shop and eat at places. I know the park the car inside the condo walls but the walk all over the place for dinner.

Everyday. It is a big resort and alot of people want to be at the pools by the beach. The slides are permanent.

Go rent on a weekend. Then you will have a good idea. If I had rented at Las Palomas before I bought, I would not have bought. It is geared towards the younger crowd. Nothing wrong with that but my children are grown and do not need a water slide.

I own at Bella Sirena. There are very few rentals there. Even on summer weekends it is quiet. I have owned at other Sandy Beach Condo. One was awful on weekends, We are grated and have security. Nothing is every crowded. Try renting on weekends at the places you are interested in.
