Best Beach between Las Conchas and La Pinta Estuary?

Love Rocky Point, but sometimes to crowded. Love to let big doggie play on beach while searching for "treasures." Seeking opinions from the experts on where you love to go :woo:!

There is a stretch of beach between Playa Encanto and Playa Miramar that is basically deserted. About a mile west of Playa Miramar is a skeleton of an unfinished condo with a large crane on the top. Follow the roads to it and walk down to the beach.

I think we have been there. I found a lot of shells at that time. Thanks for the info!

You can start at playa dorado too and walk towards the crane. We were there on saturday evening and caught a bunch of crabs. I have some pictures i wanna add of the crabs. It was a blast catching them with a net.

Those beaches out there are certainly the most isolated and beautiful near Penasco. You can also view the pier that has been used to off load the cooling towers shipped from Italy for the nuclear plants in AZ.

The unfinished condo is another example of why it is a good idea to buy a finished product. I wonder how many people lost their shirts on that one? Sometimes there are people staying in one of the partially finished ground floor units. They must have a generator or solar because it is lit up at night. Maybe they were one of the victims.

I understand they are one by one, hunting down the real estate agents ,crooked O'Lawyers and exMayors and sleaze ball brothers,Spanish con end etc....killing them and roasting them on a piece of rebar from the tower each summer solstice

I remember seeing them on the huge trailers as they made their way up. They were huge and so heavy that they could not cross any of the little bridges or culverts so they cut a road around through each arroyo. You could see, and maybe still see, the overnight stop areas they cut along the roadway as they could only make a few miles a day. I had some pics of them up there but.......Jerry must have stolen them !!

I think they are just squatters living there.

I have seen the guy setting on HIS balcony. Rather large white guy was drinking beer and waved at us. The one unit is all painted in and out. I didn't hear a generator running. Nice car he had parked in what I assume would of been the lobby.

There is a nice quad trail that you can run all the way down to the skeleton by the sea. I'll get a picture or if landshark or mondone get there first they can. We won't be back until October.

Love going to PP whenever possible (if it weren't for these damn jobs taking up 40 hr plus a week we would be there permanently ). Always searching for the treasures from the sea and have them all over our house, even a few on my desk at work ~ that somehow mysteriously disappear from time to time. But that is OK, just another excuse to go back and get more!. Some day hope to have our own place, but for now take what we can when we can. Plannnig on being there in October.
