I used to sleep at the foot of Old Glory
And awake in the dawn's early light
But much to my surprise
When I opened my eyes
I was a victim of the great compromise.
Is she scared ? "It's not who you know, its who you blow" works great in the states. Look at Monica Blewclintski.
I am sure it also works great in prison. Is she scared ? "It's not who you know, its who you blow" works great in the states. Look at Monica Blewclintski.
So true....when I had my auto accident, my friend's wife (Mexican) knew most of the local cops. When she got to the accident site, she did a lot of talking with the cops, and they actually measured the slide (in the sand) of the other vehicle, did a decent accident report, with diagrams, checked and found the kid was not licensed.....as a result the kid was found to be at fault by the magistrate (she also came down to the police station and talked to the magistrate).....otherwise, this gringo would have been up sh%$ts creek!!!! Even though the impound yard was already closed...I was still able to get my vehicle out.....Fabiolas mother (sweetest lady in the world) sat 1 year in jail, before being sentenced to 36 years in prison for a murder she didn't commit. In 1995 we had the case turned federal and with the help of an attorney from Mexico City she was released at the end of 1995. The attorney didn't charge a penny for his services. The only thing he asked for were 2 tickets to the super bowl at ASU in 1996. On the other hand I mentioned in one thread my brother in law in Mexicali was arrested with 8800 rounds of high caliber ammo and released the next day. The saying its not who you know its who you blow is not valid in Mexico. You better know somebody.
