Walkie Talkies

Does any one know if walkie talkies are legal in Mexico and if so do I need do do anything special to use them. I would like to bring a pair down to use in Cholla Bay.

We use race radios all the time in Mexico...VHF 50 watt radios...and have never had a problem.

We have a couple of small Motorola's just to communicate between the waters edge and the beachfront house should someone need something either way. Never even gave it a thought.

I never gave it a thought either. We use walkie talkies all the time between PDO and the beach...
