Heres a few site pics. Come next Monday we will have the shaper out to start to form the first layer of banked corners. Second layer will be put down by next Saturday and they the track will really start to take shape. This is a massive job. The track is 70' wide and 1/3 of a mile long so the amount of material coming in is huge. I will post them as it takes shape.

Has anyone been by to see how it's coming along; Russ?

We were down earlier in the month and saw what was in the pictures posted. Plan to head down next weekend and will
check on the progress again. I know a lot of Cholla people are excited and plan to attend. Also there were sand drags on Sandy Beach last spring that had a large turnout of Mexicans so I would not rule them out.

Cholla has a rather large presence of Manzanita people/drivers that have places there

I've talked with Leland Macspadden (The Tempe Tornado) for many years about his "work in progress" down in Cholla Bay, we hardly talk racing at all..LOL
