Thoughts on buying in the Mirador

Good afternoon, Contemplating a purchase in the Mirador section.We have visited and stayed there in the past.We like that it is is not as crazy and crowded as the Sandy Beach area and Calle 13 etc.What we don't like are all the eye sores in the area of a forgotten past.I am sure there is petty crime but like everywhere else on the planet.But concerned about significant crime or hopefully the lack of.Just looking for some thoughts.Also am curious about furnishing a home or condo and what you are allowed to or not allowed to drag down there from the U.S. TVs, couches ETC ..Thanks in advance for any advice or info

If you’re looking to escape craziness, high crime and “areas of forgotten past,” search the southeastern beaches beyond Mirador and as far as Mayan Palace.

We chose Mirador more than 20 years ago, and have no regrets. We have this ad under advertising:


We are winding down our real estate holdings and have 6 lots remaining. The asking prices range from $6900 to $59,000. 3 are located in El Mirador and 3 are in San Rafael in eastern Penasco. We have owned all of them for 10 years or more and all are properly titled, with taxes paid up to date. All have city water and electricity, and the 3 in Mirador also have city sewer. We will consider carrying seller financing. Call 480-445-9323 for details and photos. We are able to show them daily until about June 15, 2020.

Thank you .Will have to check out the options.When the time comes.Was just thinking it might be cheaper and better quality dragging it from Arizona and not sure what was allowed..

When you are ready to commit one thing to question is if the person, Gringo or Mexican, promoting property to you is a licensed realtor, or a "bird-dog" promoting any number of realtors' listings hoping to scare up a finders fee.

For bringing stuff down from the US, Contact Aron Brown, he's on Face Book, he does trips between RP-Phx-Tucson a few times per month.
He will take the hassle out of bring down stuff from the US and maybe make the import tax less for you.
