Warm enough to snorkel in January/February out at Bird Island?

I don't think it would be. We went 4th of July weekend in 2011, and it the water wasn't cold, but it was definitely a few degrees cooler than the water at Sandy Beach. I wouldn't attempt it in the winter unless you're used to east coast water temps. I snorkeled in San Carlos in April in a 3mm wetsuit and was still cold!
