Sweet 16? US dollar dips below 17 pesos

Bloomberg reported 1 US dollar buying 16.98 pesos shortly after 7:30 a.m. Mexico City time, the peso's strongest position since December 2015.

i follow the dollar/peso very closely. yes, it did briefly hit 16.98. A couple days ago it briefly hit 17.39. The futures market is showing an slowing increasing value (meaning more pesos to the dollar) through the rest of the year. Although that doesn't guaranty anything the futures markets tend to be reasonable predictors.
