We're getting smoke from the Crown king fire here in Prescott, in fact it'e even in our weather report.

Oh, I hope we don't lose Crown King, too! We take the back way up from Lake Pleasant and stop in the saloon for patty melts and onion rings. They are the best! Yum. Yum.

I am doing the HAPPY dance! I just got a call from the forest service telling me that a lot of our trail did not burn! The stamp mill and mines are fine. However, the part that goes up out of the creek bed burnt at the top. We lost the pines. We are having a sand bagging party on the 16th. Happy, happy dance!!!!!!!!!

Oh that's 269. go up theu 7 Springs and turn right, you go to Sheep bridge and come out at Horseshoe, turn left and you come out on 1-17 at the Bloody Basin exit.

Just the name Bloody Basin scared me when I was a little kid.
