AKA Carnac
Stuart, when we talked last week, you mentioned someday you would like a small casita in Puerto Lobo's. This is the style cabana now really popular in Northern California, Oregon and Washington (people are paying lot's of money for these). This is also the style cabana Jerry is working on. With a decent sized palapa in front of this with a bar-b-que grill and a couple of burners you wouldn't need a kitchen inside the cabana. Also under the palapa an enclosed bathroom. You could probably build the cabana, yourself for under $7000.00 dollars and if there are still the lots we talked about for under $4000.00 that would be a pretty cheap beach house. For what its worth I really like this look. I used to think they were ugly, but the style has been featured in Sunset Magazine. I hope you build one someday. Also check out www.moderncabana.com just dont buy here way to much money. P.S. they dont need to be metal outside, you could put redwood or fir or anything you like on it.
