Second week of April trip tips

Ok we are coming down in April from the 15th to the 20th. I need to explore the South shore neighborhoods of Cholla. Any nice spots that are accessible to me to fish in shore from there?

Tides for fishing shows it will be a very active time to be there so I am very excited for this trip, as usual but what other fish are hanging out during April?

I should have 4-5 days to explore and hit some spots, any other places anyone has for me to try out please let me know.

200-400 yards east of the big white house on the tip of Pinto Point is usually good fishing.
My local guy is always catching Corvina, Sea trout and rock bass there in the early morning.

There is a road that goes around the point past the white house and dead ends. You can then walk down to the water. It is pretty rocky in a treacherous sort of way but fishing looks good. I am bad with Cholla Bay directions but if you pull up Google Earth you may be able to see it. I tend to run into a few dead ends before I actually get on the right road. I fished there once but tide was out and I did not have much luck. Another spot is go to Tucson beach and walk westerly out towards a point. Again the rocks tend to be slippery and plentiful.

"I watched them build it and the houses on past it too. Do you live in one of the houses past it that is close to the steps down or no? I'm sure you know the Osprey that sits on the big rock in the little cove along the trail. When I'd show up to fish in that cove of his he'd raise a racket. Hillbeartoe.. From there take the trail, what east, or toward town and you'll find some good spots. I have a bunch of pictures somewhere, hard copy's, of that area from years ago." Kenny

TY buddy, I saw you posted in Pictures so maybe you linked to what I saw in that thread and then responded in that thread instead of this one. Thanks for the help bud.

Looks like April is a good month down there. I am getting excited. Would love to catch a Pompano!
