Rosie & Insurance

Our GD is headed down - again - this weekend and figured out that it is more cost effective to buy car insurance by the year rather then the trip (Take that Media!!!). Anyway, all it took was a call to Rosie. We had originally suggested to the family to use Rosie for their insurance, the main reason being that if anything did happen she would be there for them. Actually Rosie would be there for them even if they didn't buy insurance from her ;) So now she represents 3 generations of us.

We've been in insurance for decades in the States and one of the things we always knew was that your agent was very important as almost all of them had access to the major insurance companies. You wanted someone who represented you - who cared about your concerns - who would be there for you. Someone who becomes a friend as well as an agent.

I just wanted to make a public thank you to Rosie for all she has done in looking after our family and for all that she does daily in looking out for the tourists and expats that love Penasco. She is a wonderful representative of Penasco, Sonora and Mexico.

Hey! This is great of you guys...thanks, Gato. Truth be told, I'm the one who is thankful for my friends and clients on this forum as well as those I find (or who find me) along the way. Rewarding work is what makes it all worthwhile. Consider yourselves hugged!

De Nada :) Always glad to share positives.

Does the homeowner policy cover earthquake, tsunami and hurricanes?
As Dry Heat points out, those are add-ons if you want them. If you have coverage against earthquakes and inclement weather, be informed about the deductibles, which are different than they are on other portions of your policy.

And they think you are a lawyer on this forum. Some include this coverage and some don't.Word to the wise.\
again tontito... earthquake and hydro coverage are endorsement that can be added to a policy. If the agent included it in the quote, then he already included the endorsement. I don't know of a standard condo/home policy that includes this coverage. in almost all cases they are endorsements that are optional on a policy.

You sell insurance in the US, Cabron, not Mexico and you don't know.Ask about the costs for the coverage just like you would anywhere else.

????? amazing what I am told I do for work

earthquake and hydro are optional endorsements or add-ons to a property policy in mexico. I don't know what you are arguing about or if you are just slow

We are going to go with an annual policy this year too. We plan on spending a lot of time in RP this winter. I might also add that Rosie's staff is very nice and very efficient.

definitely Rosie and her staff are awesomsauce! Couldn't imagine going with anyone else personally ... but maybe I am biased since she is my agent and guardian angel if I am ever unfortunate enough actually need the services of ProAlliance ... and what sold me was knowing that if I was a client/friend/first-time visitor/competitor client/whatever ... when/if I was in need I could ring up "Rosie to the Rescue" and get the assistance I need ... was a no brainer for me to go ProAlliance IMHO :)
