[/h][h=6]Next month, The Refreshments' The Bottle & Fresh Horses turns 15. To celebrate the event, for the first time ever, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers will play the album in sequence in its entirety during their opening set at the annual House of Blues show in Las Vegas on Sept. 1. That includes three songs never before played in the Peacemaker era - Heaven or the Highway Out of Town, Birds Sing and Good Year.

This has never happened before, and we don't know if it will happen again. So be sure to join RCPM on Sept. 1 in Vegas as they celebrate life through rock-n-roll, and perform The Refreshments' final album, The Bottle & Fresh Horses, from start to finish.

That would mean missing Penasco for Labor Day weekend- which would I rather be in: Penasco or Vegas? ......... Penasco- could listen to Roger's album in it's entirety on a CD and be at the beach!

If I was coming down I would set up a sweat towel stand and sell towels at the Malecon and on the Mirador (if it still attracts anyone).
I would make a nice living that weekend. Of course I would have to have an ice packs on my head in order to survive.

Heck even jet skiing during Labor day is brutal because there isn't anymore cool water until October.
No wonder I don't see many seagulls during the summer they are all in California (the smart ones).
No, I don't like 96 degrees with 85+ dew points, yeah, I can be a whimp.

Vegas is a Peacemaker fans second favorite show..last year it was FFBB en la totalidad complete with Roger in his red Chucks. Great show...in Air conditioning....
