A few people taken by surprise by Penascos High tide Saturday in Cholla Bay. We had thousands of people here that have no idea what the tide does. Last count over 30 cars and trucks ruined on Saturday in Cholla....pro tip....don't buy a car that has been to Semana Santa in Penasco.....ever....

Seeing cars submerged in water at night was a regular event back when JJ's Cantina was one of the 4 places to hang.
The shocked look on peoples faces was funny at the time, People were warned the tide was coming up and they didn't bother
to move their cars. Yeah, I sure too much Tequila had something to do with not moving their cars.
With all the electronics in vehicles today, not so funny.
I've had to wade out to my car in 6 inches of water a few times at JJ's.
