Mariner 12.5 kayak

That's not a kayak... that's a sportfish pedal boat, where's the outriggers..? it has good ballance, I've never tried to stand up that long on mine... it seems to have a completely different propulsion system than the Hobbies...

Looks kind of jenky Jerry. Look at Ocean Kayak Scrambler, Malibu, wilderness systems, hobbie.... These guys have live bait tanks, gps, depth fish finder, storage for all your gear lunch and beer, rod holders, you name it. Its huge in San Diego. Look on youtube just type in kayak rigging and people show off how they rig their yaks. Pretty hot imo, i was jonesing for one for a while.

Please note that this kayak is not a self-bailer. It was designed for lakes, slow rivers, oceans or bays. If you absolutely must take it to a whitewater river, you can cut out 4-6 self bailing holes in the kayak bottom to let excess water escape. Otherwise, a super absorbent ShamWow sold in many retail stores is great for getting excess water out of your non-bailing kayak. Simply put the ShamWow in the water and squeeze it outside - works as a pump!
