Well they could get one of those spraying air planes that service the farms and just spray the whole town. Might give you real peace of mind and body.
Has anyone heard about this spraying for the virus being done elsewhere in the world?

The LEGITIMATE problem that worries me is that Rocky Point, not known for germaphobia or high sanitary standards, has now locked down it's entire population from ANY and ALL BUGS. They have shuttered all from not only Covid herd immunity, but also the gazillions of other bugs that float around the fish market, the bathrooms with no soap and no hot water, the restaurants, etc., etc.

Now, the population that has been quarantined is wide open to illnesses that their immune systems were already easily able to fight off and now with all the purrell baths and sanitization and lockdown, residents will be getting sick from stuff that they never would have every had to worry about otherwise.

I'd be much more worried about that, than the WuFlu. Getting sick from stuff that you otherwise would not have gotten sick from could just overwhelm the challenged medical system in RP.

What say you Roberto?, you scientific expert you ? Didn't you say you worked in a lab at one point and now you have expert advice and opinions ?

Outbreak of Covid-19 in health workers in Puerto Peñasco transcends

* IMSS personnel are the most affected with at least 10 cases

It has emerged that a high number of health workers from different medical institutions in Puerto Peñasco, public and private, who have presented symptoms of the Covid-19 coronavirus, of which at least three doctors have had to be transferred to Hermosillo hospitals and Nogales for your attention.
Of these cases, the state of health considered serious, with high suspicion of Covid-19 when presenting symptoms and presenting pneumonia, of Dr. Francisco Javier Carrillo Ruiz, doctor of this port and who holds the position of director of Civil Protection and Local fire department, who was transferred last Monday night, June 22 to a private hospital in Hermosillo.
A more suspicious case of Covid-19, when presenting various symptoms of this disease, and who is waiting for the results of the pcr test, is Dr. Ivan Munguía, current Legislative Medical Officer of Municipal Public Security of this port, himself who for a week has been isolated and in poor health.
In the same way, the transfer to a Nogales hospital of a couple of IMSS doctors, who were also transferred with symptoms of Covid-19, with a reserved state of health.
In addition, at least 10 more cases of personnel from the same health institution with high suspicion of the virus are known to be isolated, awaiting results.
The medical personnel of the health institutions of this town are in the front line of battle in the combat of the Covid-19, exposing themselves to the contagion of the virus, but without letting their guard down in this fight in which they are the most important part in the care and health care of the rock people.

Locally, car dealerships and car washes are spraying the insides of vehicles, but nothing like that fog bank in the Tequila Factory. Just a few spritzes of disinfectant with AC running.

They really should let the VRBO renters in the renters pool they are no longer renting under the table VRBO is requiring a tax number to rent in penasco, so they spray your home you can alway disinfect what they are spraying.
Have to ask azbeachboy how he got through the sanitation filter.
I did go through the sanitation tunnel once no big deal.

The Mayor does care. He is doing his best to protect his community. After the horn goes off for curfew at 10pm they sanitize the streets. They had limited one person per car and to enter stores. $2600 peso fines for not wearing masks, if you can’t pay jail time. Barricaded the town before Santa Semana to protect the community. The people that live here have been basically quarantined since March other than essentials such as groceries or doctor appts. We had few covid cases. The mayor is opening up in phases. He allowed home owners in first, after that 5 new cases. Now tourists with reservations 10 new cases. This past week has been a shit show with the tourists. Swimming in the ocean, not wearing their masks in public places. I saw an employee ask two people to be 6 feet a part and the man went off on the employee. Do the tourists realize the hoops the city went thru to open up. All businesses, employees had to take classes and get certified. All homes, condos need to be sanitized with a certificate. If new cases continue to spike the Mayor will shut the city down again. They DO NOT have the medical facilities for a large out break. Majority of the locals are following the rules.

Perfect third person point of view but you are wrong on letting home owners in first, they are not allowed in till July 15 just cause we still work in the USA, excuses the permanent resident card holders.

Big fan of town. Big fan of mayor. Big fan of science. This has turned into an unreasonable experiment in which we went from risk mitigation to all out complete prevention. Complete prevention is impossible. With that as the standard we will fail.
