Lock your propane

Well a new thing going on in all of Puerto Penasco RV Parks. My refrigerator shut itself off and indicated we had no propane. I checked the bottles and sure enough they were empty. Not only were they empty they were not my bottles. When I had them filled the Propane guy warned me that there were people trading the tanks from RVs that are left set up in the parks. They come in and take yours that are full and put their empty in their place. They even re hook them and make it look like you just ran out.
So*** Chain and lock your tanks to your RV.
Well we pulled ours out for the season so see you all in PP next Fall.

Okay, now that it has come up......security at PDO is still a major joke. One morning just before six, I was walking the dogs and came upon one asleep..... but that isn't the kicker. A couple of kids decided to ride their ATV on the beach in front of PDO. They were told by beachgoers that ATV's were not allowed on the beaches, but this did not deter them. They rode back and forth again. This time, an older lady staying at the park confronted them, said some things to them, they flipped her off, she flipped them off (I couldn't hear them but I could pretty much tell what was being said) and they continued to ride...........all of this while one of the guards was sitting on his bicycle on the boat ramp watching it all. I really was not surprised....and if they fired one of them recently, as they said, I sure couldn't tell because it looks like all of the same ones are still there. Thanks Bill for the heads up....

I would figure everyone would lock up everything that wasn't permanently secured down. Did anyone learn a lesson from this? I even lock things up at my place in AZ.
