I am soaked to the skin. Ruined my shoes and a silk skirt! It blew and rained and hailed really hard here! Witnessing the storm from my highrise on Central was really cool! Walking to the garage in knee deep water! The garage was flooded! I felt really sorry for those people in those little bitty cars on the way home. I tried not to swamp 'em with my big mud tires! LOL! My swimming pool and the yard are one. That's gonna suck tomorrow.....And, the best thing about the storm? It washed all the mud off my Jeep so I don't have to wash it before I come down. And the puddles took care of the tires! I was amazed! She was covered in mud!!!!! What a COOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL storm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to love the rain in Phoenix! It's so rare. I would shut off the a/c and open everything just to get the scent in there. And it never just "sprinkles" it comes down with a vengeance!

The hail HURT!!!!!!!!!!! It was the size of marbles where I was. Some kids made a hailman in Cave Creek. Up there it was the size of golfballs!!!! The news is showing some amazing pictures!!!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot. I shut off the air and opened all the windows! Finally some fresh air in here! :)))))))

thunder was coming from my neighbors place

After moving to a cabin a mile above Goldwater lake in July, I learned something new last night. The lightening and thunder comes out of the Ponderosa pines, and not not the sky, because I'm in the SKY!! It sounded like the thunder was coming from my neighbors place, and the lightening was from down the road!
I can remember the hail putting holes in my Cactus down in Phoenix..ouch!

Your place may have a lot less zeros on the price tag as jay's but all and all it's just as fun. !
