I left RP yesterday at noontime,. Wednesday, and was passed by no less than 100 bikers headed down. A lot of bikers are in construction which seems to be picking up. This time I agree with Russ. Give it a break.

Lovin it in RP!
According to one of my friends related to all things Penasco....no fewer than 900 bikes crossed Sonoyta today and over 200 on their way down from Baja CA Mexicali and San Luis, it will be a great weekend for the bike rally! They expect the numbers to be greater tomorrow!

We've got a pretty good crowd at the Camel Toe Cantina. I just left there. I have to work these days so late nights out are few and far between.

Things look pretty good considering that it's still early. Yea, Camel Toe looked good last night. lots of bikes pulled into the Del Sol at the end of Calle 13. I could hear the rolling thunder through the night. It might not be the biggest yet but it surely will help out the local economy. Beer, food and lodging at least.

We went with friends to Playa Bonita for sunset and drinks and the place was packed like I haven't seen it in a long time. The band was playing oldies rock and the crowd was dancing like crazy (I think it was dancing) it was fun but alas I am not into the crowds that much and we left at about 8:00 and people were still pouring in. FYI My son was in the Malecon listening to a band and he said it was packed downtown as well! It will be a great weekend for the local businesses for sure

came home friday and we stopped counting at over 200 vehicles heading down...was great to see. Hope it was a good weekend for RP.

Yay for Laughlin. That's where I live and I love it here except when it gets to 140 F. in the summer every few years. HOO Ray. this summer was tolerable. It's getting close to perfect and there's hardly any tourists in town. OOH RAW!

I just woke up from last night. Holy Crap!!!! The place was packed. I have never seen so many people in the Malecon in my life. Wrecked at the Reef was jamming and it is Randy's 50th Birthday today. If your still in town swing by and buy him a drink. back to bed.

We were at theMalecon yesterday and the city had made it bikers only for parking and riding along the fish market. The place was packed with people leaving only a trail open for the bikers to ride. The bars were full with bead throwing for a peak at the boobs. Every one was having a great time. I hesitate to guess but there had to be over a thousand bikes there. Some wild garb on a few of the biker women with open tops and cheaks showing.
This had to be a very profitable weekend for the city.
There was great presence of police and every one in the crowd, we saw, was behaving well. The city did a great job of management of the activities and the crowds. I would have to say to any biker that has not been here for this" COME ON DOWN".

biker1 resized.JPGNot a bust here, well may be a few. I did not post any of the pics so you just have to believe me. I did not want to offend anyone.BOOBAR.jpg

Bill....your eyesight must be getting pretty bad if you can't spot that "bust"....but I'm sure we'll see enough once AZbeachboy posts....:notme:

No doubt abut it, a successful weekend. Don't know what kind of numbers people will come up with, But I think thre were as many bikes lined up in the Malecon yesterday as ther ever have been. Everyone happy and having a great time. Talked to one guy down from Colorado and he said Penasco is the best rally and he attends the big ones up in El Norte. Way more fun here.

I live in town away from Las Palomas and I heard the band Mogollon from my upstairs deck, it sounded good even though I live miles away. It was a great turnout and the guys and gals I talked to said they will be back next year and I think a whole lot of others will be too once they figure out they are being scared for no reason!

At the border in the mexican side there was a guy saying that on saturday there was an accident where a person past away, is it true or just a rumor he was spreading?
