Flair guns

What about having a flair gun in your vehicle ? It is not a weapon it is a safety device.
I think if someone pointed a gun at me and I pointed a big barreled flair gun back they would back off.

But as always try to stay out of this position. With the crap hapening more often I am becoming a very little more concerned.

Leaving Fri. am to come down with the 5th wheel. I think we will be in space 111 Plya De Oro this year. Come on over

seriously, we need to start thinking that the fear that the old warnings gave us is not all in Penasco and if there was ever a killing/kidnapping of an american tourist in Penasco how come we never heard of it!!
Tourism is one of the biggest incomes for Mexico and the drug dealers, they are not going to bite the hand that feeds them, but that is my thinking, I still relax when in Penasco even more than in Tucson!!
And Bill I will hold you to it, you better be in space 111!!!

I think a Flair gun would be good for shooting shiny sparking objects at say unicorns while a Flare gun might do some damage and get you face down in a shallow grave next to RP Joe and his anti-Narco paint Balloon launcher

Come on Jerry....at least get it straight....it's an "anti-Narco diesel oil balloon launcher"!!!:moon:

As for your critique of a flare gun...since we are not permitted to be armed in Mexico, should the occasion occur that a "narco type" was trying to run us off the road for whatever reason, I would expect a flare launched through an open window onto the lap of the other driver, would be a last ditch effort that would not cause any more harm than would be expected by doing nothing at all.
