CEDO Investigation

Just read on Rocky Point Times Newspaper Facebook page that CEDO is investigating why there have been more whales, birds, and more fish this year. Zaida from CEDO said they think there is more food in the water and that the whales and fish move towards hot/warmer currents, but that they have no idea why we've been seeing the big brown jellyfish which apparently is a type of Medusa, and that they haven't been able to find the scientific name for them.

Sounds "fishy" to me.

I don't think the rain had anything to do with it. Wasn't there more rain in 2012, or am I just thinking that there was more rain because of all the trouble in Sonoyta while they were building the new bridge?

There are probably a lot of natural cycles in biology that occur at intervals so long that the incidents are unrecorded and appear to be 'un-natural'. Man, being egocentric, claims to understand nature and apply labels. Read Zhuangzi. There is nothing to understand.

Think the overal fish count is down for the Panga guys and shrimpers The Sinaloa fishermen that work out of Lobos were not working and had gone south to visit family.

On the brown jellyfish I don't think it is to much of a menace.I lot of cheese heads were having a blast swimming ,wading and kayaking with the dolphins in Santo Tomas and I heard no screaming except the fun kind.
