Wow!!!! We arrived at 4:10 and I don't even think we were there 10 minutes. They had all 5 lanes open and the border guys were even in a good mood! 4 hours and 15 minutes from PDO to 43rd and Dunlap. That's a record in my big ole squirrelly Jeep!

We had no idea how long the wait was today when we left. The internet was up and down all weekend at PDO and down all day today until we left. 50 or 60 crazy speeding passers passed us and we thought it would be a long wait.......

I had 1 vehicle in front of me on my line at about 5pm...wouldn't you know it, got sent to secondary. The 2 female agents there checked my cooler...even opened the aluminum foil that had a sandwich...sent me on my way...I wasn't at secondary more than a couple of minutes.

At 7:00 AM they had one lane open and one car in front of me. They asked for the dogs papers but didn't look at them?

I hit at the wrong time. Came to a dead stop just over the hill in Sonoyta at 11:30AM and took 1 hour to get through the crossing.:happens:

Be thankful it was only an hour. I've been back that far before they added the new lanes and it was 4 hours from that point.

Oh, believe me, I was happy. Thought it would be a lot longer. I hit a dead stop around the same spot last year and it was 3 hours. Ready lane helped me a lot and the agents seemed like they were moving a lot quicker this time.
