This may be a silly question, but here goes. I know that you can't buy alcohol in stores during the election weekend, but are the bars and nightclubs closed and not serving alcohol also?

From previous elections, at 10:40PM on the Friday before the election they stopped serving drinks and had everyone leave by 11PM, (JJ's, Pink Cadillac, Manny's)
Don't know about the Calle 13 places, Might experience that this year.

Are stores open on election day? Also, can
Still bring liquor into mexico during this "dry days?"
I would say you can because you are not voting in this election. Most stores will be open it will be a very busy Sunday in Mexico. I for one will be glad when its over

Really are there any differences anymore? Everyone's agenda is what's in it for me and my buddies.
Mexico is not any different than US. Just my POV.
It would be awesome if someone just got elected to do the right thing as in do what you said and were elected for.
Off my soapbox.

done deal. Sealed and delivered.

Someone posted that Mexico had better election process than USA!

Can you see a candidate paying 500Million to CBS to promote him and derogate the opposition. (Nieto paid Televisa)
How about the millions of debit cards given as tokens by a candidate or super pac. (Millions of Mexicans mad as many claim short changed by debit cards) IT was calculated that Romney paid over 1,000 a vote in some primaries, it would be better to hand out $500 gift cards!?

Ala Nixon Kennedy; Television and good looks proves a powerful tool for gaining power....

"Mexico; you pawned your future for 500 pesos" !

I thought "somone" was already paying CBS
