Rants and Raves access is now locked. You can only see this forum if you are a registered user. Unregistered visitors do not see this forum at all. If you are a registered user, you MUST enter a password to access this forum, at least on your first visit or anytime you log out, then log back into this site. I am not publishing the password. UPDATE: I have also changed settings so that new threads and posts in Rants do not appear on the "new and recents" bar at the right of the forum window. For all intents and purposes, Rants has gone into total stealth mode.

You being a moderator made it particularly offensive to me. Sort of sets the tone for the forum when you read the controlling moderators posting stuff like that. I hope you will be more responsible. Thanks for locking it

I don't even think I'm going to ask for the password- I don't want it.

I am of the considered opinion that my personal philosophies will remain intact (and unscarred) regardless of my willingness to share them, but why bother?

My peace of mind, meanwhile, will be better served by not being exposed to the frequent inanities (and insanities) presented by others as topics of genuine importance.

Roberto will just have to continue formulating his ongoing diagnosis and case study of my many web-induced mental illnesses from fishing reports, and border crossing detention stories...

Yes, that forum is still open because it's very specific to something many of us like to stay abreast of.

Same reason I hardly read a newspaper. I love the truth and not the crap.
