Hey I created this thread to talk about the downsides of the homeport on americans. if you only hear it is going to be sunny with no winds you are not prepared for the storms.Do you not think it would be wise for someone thinking of buying a condo or beach house to consider the negative effects this might have on the area?

I hate sitting in the Wrecked or Mare Blu and staring at a pile of rocks, which I assume is going to grow exponentially.

I have though, grown weary of seven weeks of diatribe culminated by a totally useless video for shock sake and no other logical reason.
Those scenes prove nothing and are not germane to anything to do with the port. If you need to see more of that I refer you to Borderland Beat.

thanks Perro...no i will pass...as sick of setting the record straight as I can be........also moving out of santo tomas and partnering (minor partner on an eco retreat a bit south...1000 acre with retreat cabanas behind the dunes with solar and wind powered,hign end composting toilets/ Early stages but I get an Airstream on site!///for weekend yoga retreats etc......bringing one of americas top concrete fabricators down to begin talks on design/fabrication contract

Yeah I recall the incident, you can say the son was not as generous as the father, kid sure made a mess of that area, was a beautiful view from the road passing the osprey nest. Guaymas is from my understanding where "the ships" will be fueling. Already has the infrastructure set up .There where originally 15 stops but down to 7 possible at the moment.

Not trying to start anything but, we were there from noon Wednesday and there was nothing going on on the Jetty side the whole time we were there (6 days). The concrete trucks and form guys were busy though. I went by that work site atleast 10 times north side off-road and the main drag side. So good for them.
I wish we could have fished from it though, lol.

Here's a sunset pic and you can still see the machines on the breakwater, taken 10 days ago when I was down there.

I saw the machines there and never saw anyone down there nor the machines moving. Does that mean nothing was happening, not really. I just never saw anyone or any machines moving or dust or.. And that's all I said.

AND, regardless of long past comments for or against I have always said one way or another it's happening.
As far as pics all I have are pics of the other construction site which as I stated was very busy.

The cement blocks take 6 months to cure. Cranes taken down at esmeralda to move the 10 ton blocks. Plenty of movement going on.
